My Name Doesn’t Fit Here asked:

My parents aren’t really “for” this learning a second language, but I think Japanese is beautiful and I’m motivated to learn it.

I heard that the Rosetta Stone series is effective in romance languages like French and Spanish, but it lacked a bit when it came to Japanese. And I also heard it only covers the Romanji spelling.

I would like to learn how to read AND speak it.

I heard another user talk about Auralog’s TeLL Me More learning software and wondered what other people thought of it. Does it teach you how to read it?

My parents aren’t for this, and I’m very very busy and my high school doesn’t offer it. But I’m convinced that if I think a language is beautiful enough, I should learn it.

I’ll watch unsubbed anime to help me out and try to get links to Japanese magazines. Does anyone know anything else that can help me learn Japanese? Thanks!!

What type of software do I need to run a distribution business?

software reviews
orange1234 asked:

I am setting up a distribution business where I buy a range of hair products from a supplier overseas and then store them in a warehouse.
I will employ sales reps to visit hair salons and take orders for my hair products.
I need a computer software that can:
1. Keep track of my own orders with my suppliers, did they arrive etc.
2. Keep track of my warehouse inventory.
3. Keep track of my sales reps details.
4. Keep track of each sales reps orders grouped by hair salon name in his area.
5. Print off invoices to mail out to the salons, and keep track of whether or not they have been paid.

I have no idea what this type of software is called and am having a hard time finding something suitable.
Does anybody have any suggestions of names of software or search terms I can type into Yahoo to get a list of softwares with reviews? When I type inventory management, I can’t seem to find one that tracks the sales reps.

Surely there is something out there already?

Thanks.

Julie asked:

It does not have to be free, but ranging loosley from 0-$60. I need a software for multi users and is not gimmicky. I’ve read both good and bad reviews on McAfee and Norton software, and am thinking of purchasing a Webroot brand program. Is this a wise choice? What do I need to know about upgrades and such? What software are most people on?

I am starting a new business and I would like to know which accounting software is recommended?

SVSBgirl asked:

I’ve been reading these “God awful” reviews on QuickBooks Pro 2007 on Amazon (how you have to buy each software package when it’s time to “upgrade”, horrible overseas tech support, having salespeople harass you, etc.) and how you get pop-ups that you can’t disable to purchase their products. Are there anything that is just as good as QBs? I don’t want to be quick to judge as I’ve never used an Accounting software before, but I’m seeing all the signs that says not to buy it. Thanks!
